JennyTransition Room Leader - Early Childhood Teacher, Bachelor in Teaching I have been teaching for over 30 years with a lot of my time spent teaching infants and primary. I particularly enjoy teaching in Early Childhood Education as I get to interact with children in a natural and relaxed environment where I can discover their interests and strengths and how they like to learn. I can then use this information to create programs that are child-centred and enhance their learning. I have further training as a Reading Recovery Teacher and I have a great interest in fostering children's pre-reading skills through sharing my love of children's literature with them. | CassNursery Room Leader, Diploma in Children's Services I have a Diploma in early childhood education and care. I grew up in Merimbula and recently moved back to the area. I am extremely passionate about providing the highest level of care to all of the special, little people at our centre and I pride myself in being a positive, supportive and professional educator. |
BrionyCertificate III in Children's Services, studying Diploma in Children's Services I have over 20 years experience cooking in restaurants and for over five years I was the chef at Shorebreakers, before I started studying my Cert III and working within the rooms in 2018. I have a great passion for food and enjoy educating children about new foods. When I was the cook, I challenged myself to make the menu unique, enabling children to try new food that is culturally diverse and meets the National Regulations for health and nutrition. I am lucky in my position, as I work with the children on their level and help them ignite their creative passions through craft projects and face painting. I completed my Certificate III in 2019 and am now working towards my Diploma in Children Services. |
BrielleCertificate III in Children's Services I completed my Certificate lll in early childhood education in December 2018. I am now working full time in the Preschool Room here at Shorebreakers. I enjoy working in child care as it's very rewarding seeing their accomplishments and smiles everyday. |

I enjoy working with children as it is a very rewarding job, being able to watch children learn and grow and to help them become confident learners. |

Children need to feel loved and cared for while they are enjoying an educational environment. |
AnnaCertificate III in Children's Services I started at Shorebreakers as a trainee in 2010 and then went on to work part-time while also raising my young family. I had the opportunity to build some amazing relationships with other educators, children and families at the centre. I love building relationships with children and their families, and helping the children to engage and learn whilst watching them develop and grow. |
MaryStudying Diploma in Children's Services I'm a mum of two children and am currently studying my Diploma. I love working with children of all ages and find it a very rewarding experience helping them grow and learn all about our world. |

LouiseCertificate III in Children's Services I have only been working in the field for the last fourteen months. Previous to this I had always worked in retail, so it truly is a lovely change. I feel it is important to create a safe and caring environment within the centre to give a sense of belonging to the children and their families. Building good relationships with the children and their family is also very important to me. |
